2007 Grounding Work Symposium
: Massachusetts Arts, Boston, USA. Invited international speaker at the symposium of Arts and Environment. Contributed to the concurrent group exhibition. Work purchased by the K2 Family Foundation.

2007 W Y E Project: Aune Head Arts. Sound art project combining an inner city and rural school. A series of walks that were digitally recorded by the children. Outcomes are web-based sound maps, podcasts and a printed map.

2007 Anti-Parallel: Egenis Human Genome Research Cluster. Group Exhibition. Showing alongside Susan Derges and Christopher Cook among others, as part of National Festival of Social Science.

2006 Greenmuseum.org: Invited by Sam Bower (founder) to join the list of selected artists in relation to art that responds to contemporary discourse on nature.

2006 Yatoo Nature/Art Pre-biennial (Korea): Work included in the bookwork marking international work that addresses art and environmental concerns.

2006 Forest Dreaming: CCANW (Centre for Contemporary Art and the Natural World). Exhibited in the centre's inaugural exhibition that included Peter Randall-Page, Susan Derges, David Nash and Andy Goldsworthy.

2005 / 2006 RANE residency: University College Falmouth, Cornwall. 3 month research residency with RANE (Research in Art, Nature & Environment) set up by Daro Montag, results presented at symposium Summer 2006.

2005 Art and Ecology Symposium: Dartington Arts, Devon. Solo exhibition of ‘Carbon Light Life’ and presented at the symposium along with artists from New Zealand, Japan, China, America, Canada and Europe.

2005 Sonic Arts Network: Primary Schools, Devon. Working with sound artist Tony Whitehead on national project organised by Sonic Arts Network, originally founded by John Cage. Project to encourage young people to record, compose and draw sounds, as a method of appreciating the natural world.

2004 Twelve: The Art Farm, Devon / Resonance FM. A commission to make site-specific work. Produced a twelve hour sound recording overnight in a woodland on the farm. Excerpts aired on Resonance FM. Public-engagement workshops taking people into the woodland to encourage a deeper engagement with the site.

2003 Carbon Light Life: Wysing Arts, Cambridgeshire. Solo exhibition, 'Carbon Light Life' and short residency to respond to the context of Wysing's grounds and farmland.

2003 Tooth and Claw: Royal West of England Academy, Bristol. Invited to exhibit works from Carbon, Light, Life at RWA Summer exhibition.

2003 Carbon, Light, Life: Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew, London. Public art commission from Kew Gardens to create 9 animal carbon prints to coincide with the opening of their summer festival for biodiversity 'Go Wild'. Work now on permanent display in the grounds at Kew.

2003 R and D Residency: Eden Project, Cornwall. To research and develop site-specific work, in relation to a future exhibition.

2003 Wildtracks exhibition: Royal Albert Memorial Museum & Gallery, Exeter. Solo exhibition and publication of work resulting from the Wildtracks residency. Artist's profile A-N magazine.

2002 Wildtracks residency: A six month artist-led residency in collaboration with Exeter City Council and Devon Wildlife Trust. Creating artwork from specific sites in and around Exeter, incorporating a regional outreach programme. Supported by South West Arts' Regional Arts Lottery Programme.

2001 East of Eden: Spacex Gallery, Exeter. Selected for open exhibition 'East of Eden'. Invited and selected artists for group show, Spacex / CCANW collaboration.

2001 Art of Science: Royal Albert Memorial Museum & Art Gallery, Exeter. Exeter Healthcare Arts. Images taken from microscope slides collected by Victorian biologists, from museum's collections, chosen for their aesthetic qualities as a 'consequence' of scientific practice.

2000/01 Memoire Entomologique: Royal Albert Memorial Museum & Art Gallery, Exeter. Intervention in the Natural History Department. Entomological display case of pseudo-insects created from 'found' discarded electrical components, placed within the museum's display.

VOCATIONAL EMPLOYMENT

2006 (to date) Nature Awareness Instructor / educator:
For the past few years I have lead residential courses on Dartmoor in South Devon, as an instructor for Wildwise (www.wildwise.co.uk) an environmental education organisation. Teaching animal tracking, nature awareness and native survival skills to peolple ranging from age 6 to 66.

2005 (to date) Sonic Arts Network: National project organised by Sonic Arts Network, originally founded by John Cage. Project to encourage young people to record, compose and draw sounds, as a method of appreciating the natural world.

2004 Artist Assistant: working with Susan Derges creating work for her commission for the new Education Centre at the Eden Project.

2000 Project Photographer: Staff for Operation Wallacea based in primary equatorial rainforest in Brunei, Borneo.

1998 Artist Assistant: working with Susan Derges. Assisting to create her photogram artwork on location, for 'River Taw' and 'Shoreline' series

1998 Darkroom Assistant: working with Chris Chapman. Studio work - making working prints for 'Last Days at Truelove Farm'.

1996/7 Conservation volunteer and Project photographer: The Sea Turtle Protection society. Working in Greece tracking & protecting turtle nests.

1992/3 Dawlish Warren Nature Reserve Visitor: walking to survey site daily, conservation, protecting flora & fauna, land management and education.
